Smarter driving (based on goods and passenger digital data analysis)

By far the most common mode of transport for the movement of goods is by road. Goods vehicles operate within a strict legislative framework for reasons of road safety and competition. This project aims to combine digital tachograph, satellite navigation and smartphone information to provide sophisticated visualisation and feedback methods, in search of better and safer use of roads, lower fuel consumption for vehicles and improved work quality for drivers. The result will enable a driver to "micro" manage their driving style (the ECO driver) and ultimately facilitate "macro" management of the entire fleet.
