Microclimate Survey Array (MSA) for capture of data for green energy sources (145)

Microclimate Survey Array (MSA) Individual locations have micro climates, with different levels of wind and solar potential. In this project graduate will design, build, test and deploy an array of low-cost, compact, easy to deploy, self-powered, location-aware, mesh-radio-network-enabled units that capture data about the type and availability of green energy sources at high levels of granularity over a well-defined geographical area. Potential candidates for this position should have or expect to achieve a first-class or upper second class degree in Mechatronics Electronics Electrical Engineering Computing or equivalent relevant experience. Applicants should also demonstrate strong practical skills, good mathematical skills and programming experience.
