Centre for Global Eco-Innovation launch on Monday 4th featured in THE Campus round-up
Europe's first Centre for Global Eco-Innovation will open next week. The £9.8 million virtual centre will establish collaborative research and development partnerships for the creation of global products, processes and services with positive environmental benefits. It is part-financed by the European Regional Development Fund and combines expertise from Lancaster University, the University of Liverpool and consultancy Inventya. First fifty businesses announced in £9.8m eco innovation centre
Fifty businesses have been selected to work intensively with university researchers and graduates on environmentally friendly products and services in a radical new research centre.

50 long term research projects confirmed
Fifty exclusive industry linked PhD research projects have been confirmed. Funded by through the Centre for Global Eco-Innovation 50 three year research projects have now been agreed in partnership with leading innovative businesses across the Northwest. These researchers will draw upon the expertise of Lancaster University & University of Liverpool to deliver a long term programme of collaborative research.
